Warranty
At Shaw Watches, we build our watches to be worn, used, and enjoyed. Every Shaw timepiece is tested and inspected before leaving our facility. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and ensures that your watch continues to perform as intended.
Please read the following warranty terms carefully.
1. Warranty Period
All Shaw watches come with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of Shipping.
2. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, Shaw Watches will cover defects arising from manufacturing or workmanship, including:
- Movement malfunction caused by a manufacturing defect
- Hands becoming loose or detached due to a manufacturing defect
- Dial defects caused during manufacturing
- Crown or crown mechanism malfunction caused by a manufacturing defect
- Defects in the case or caseback caused during manufacturing
If a covered defect is confirmed, Shaw Watches will, at its discretion:
- Repair the watch, or
- Replace the defective component, or
- Replace the watch where repair is not possible.
If a replacement is not available, SHAW may provide an appropriate alternative resolution.
3. Water Resistance
Water resistance is tested before the watch is shipped.
For watches rated at 200m / 20 ATM, the watch may be used for swimming and other suitable water activities when the crown is properly secured and the watch has not suffered damage.
Water-resistance claims may not be covered where damage results from:
- An improperly secured or open crown
- Physical impact
- Damage to the crystal, crown, case, or caseback
- Unauthorized opening or servicing
- Normal deterioration of gaskets or seals
- Exposure to water after the watch has been damaged
We recommend having the water resistance checked periodically, particularly if the watch is frequently exposed to water.
4. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear.
This includes:
- Scratches, dents, or marks on the case
- Scratches or damage to the crystal caused by impact
- Scratches or fading of the bezel
- Normal wear of the case finish
- Scratches, discoloration, or wear on bracelets and straps
- Damage caused by dropping or impact
- Damage caused by improper use
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by opening the watch case
- Damage caused by incorrect operation of the crown or chronograph
- Water damage resulting from improper use or an unsecured crown
- Normal aging of gaskets and seals
- Cosmetic deterioration caused by normal use
5. Automatic Watch Specifics
Automatic movements are mechanical instruments and may exhibit variations in timekeeping depending on factors such as position, temperature, movement, and level of winding.
Minor variations in accuracy do not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal mechanical accuracy variation
- Reduced power reserve caused by normal use or aging
- Damage caused by overwinding, impact, or improper handling
- Normal wear of mechanical components
If you notice significant or unusual timekeeping deviation, please contact us so our service team can assess the watch.
6. Straps & Bracelets
Straps and accessories are not covered under warranty. However, if you experience any manufacturing defect, please contact us, and our team will be happy to assist you.
7. Bracelet Adjustment
For watches supplied with a metal bracelet, customers are responsible for ensuring the bracelet is adjusted appropriately.
We recommend having bracelet adjustments performed by a professional watchmaker or an experienced watch service professional to avoid scratches or damage.
8. Unauthorized Repairs & Modifications
Any repair, modification, alteration, or opening of the watch by an unauthorized person or service centre may void the warranty.
This includes:
- Opening the caseback
- Movement modification
- Dial or hand replacement
- Case modification
- Non-original components
- Unauthorized polishing
- Modification of the crown or case
For warranty service, please contact SHAW before sending the watch to any third-party service centre.
9. Warranty Claims
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us through our official customer support channel with:
- Order number
- Name used for the purchase
- Contact details
- Description of the issue
- Photographs or videos clearly showing the issue
- Proof of purchase, if requested
Our team may ask for additional photographs or videos to determine whether the issue is covered under warranty.

Warranty coverage is determined after inspection by Shaw Watches or an authorized service representative.
10. Shipping for Warranty Service
If the issue is confirmed to be covered under warranty, SHAW will provide instructions regarding the return and service process.
Unless otherwise communicated by SHAW, shipping costs associated with sending a product for inspection or service is customer's responsibility.
If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect covered under warranty, SHAW will provide the applicable resolution in accordance with our warranty policy.
